VPC Type 37HW

I have had the pleasure to work with VPC in the design and development of the brand’s first watch, the Type 37HW. Starting from a blank sheet of paper, and with a brief to create a classically-styled watch that you could wear every day, we have focused on the subtle details to develop a unique design language that can be built on with future models.

In Thomas Van Straaten’s own words, “As a writer for Fratello and former vintage watch dealer, I have handled thousands of watches. They left me with the feeling that there was still room for improvement in design and execution. And so I teamed up with top designer Max Resnick to make my vision come alive”.
